Introducing a new project from Koonec: TranslateMyCV.com

TechieI spent the last weekend working on a mini-website for Koonec called TranslateMyCV. The name is pretty self-explanatory; it’s a small site where you can get your CV or Resumé translated to Spanish or French for only $20.

We tried to make it as simple as possible, because we wanted it to be a totally hassle-free service. The whole process is done in 3 steps including the payment and the client gets his translation back in less than 24h.

Release: A (very) cheap Netvibes clone v0.9

TechieYesterday I had some free-time, so I decided to create a new place to read my feeds. It was a good learning project that has served me to refresh some of the SimplePie documentation and as a way to keep learning PHP and MooTools. A review of Getting Real

Techie Getting Real is a book about 37signals’ project management philosophy. If you don’t know 37signals, let me just say that it is a web design company which turned into a software development company, when their side-project (a.k.a. Basecamp) became their main source of income.

I love Berserk. You will love it too.

PersonalBerserk is an awesome manga written and illustrated by Kentaro Miura. I would define it as a dark fantasy story based in a medieval world. It’s without a doubt one of the best mangas I’ve ever read. Suffice it to say that it is one of the longest living mangas in Japan -a country that publishes each month more than 100K pages of manga-. Berserk has been up and running for over 20 years. I love Berserk. You will love it too.
